Words mean more than what is set down on paper.
It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning.

ABOUT ME
It all started in the early '90s at a classical radio station in Maine. I began my VO career writing & voicing commercial ad copy for local business clients to create a new 'word of mouth' advertising buzz in a small, print-heavy market. It was the era of the 'big announcer' radio voice- a style that didn't always fit the vibe of my clients. To create ad campaigns that felt more next-door-friendly, I began voicing the ads myself- taking a more 'pop-on-by', spontaneous approach than most mainstream radio ads. This relatable approach helped to humanize the businesses, and they started seeing results in our small-town market. People began mentioning the commercials, and we were off and running.
After my years in radio, I took a job in PR & event sales and became a wedding officiant, consultant, and coordinator- keeping a few freelance commercial voiceover clients on the side.
